An opportunity has arisen for an Operations Manager to join our team at Saxmundham. Working as an Operations Manager, you will be responsible for managing the performance and successful delivery of area-based teams. The role will include several operational requirements to ensure the safe, effective, and consistent delivery of projects. This is a permanent role working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

Principal Accountabilities
1. The Operations Manager will be responsible for general operational responsibilities including undertaking pre-contract site assessment
2. Be confident in client facing situations and be capable of resolving operational issues
3. To co-ordinate teams according to contract specifications and workload.
4. To monitor work progress and performance, taking prompt action when needed and reporting any irregularities
5. To liaise and work with Client officers at appropriate level to meet expectations in relation to completed / outstanding /additional work.
6. Maintain records of all tasks completed utilising the Job Management system.
7. To communicate effectively and confidently both on a one-to-one basis and in groups.
8. Adhere to HR processes and procedures.
9. Ensure all HR matters are dealt with accordingly
10. To understand the law relating to Health & Safety and understand and implement the company’s Health & Safety policy ensuring the completion of Accident and near miss reports.
11. To understand and implement risk assessments and COSSH.
12. Manage according to budgets set by idverde.
13. Full UK driving license.
14. Wide knowledge of all ground’s maintenance activities.
