An exciting opportunity for an administrator to join the Guildford office, working within a team who provide holistic Wealth Advisory Service in relation to retirement planning, estate planning, investments and protection. Typically our clients are HNW individuals with complex planning needs. Sitting within the Private Client Division of Investec Wealth and Investment UK, the Guildford office continues to target strong growth driven by our advice-focused approach. We are looking for someone who is excited about the prospect of joining a growing part of our business, and who is passionate about a career in financial services. What are the key responsibilities? This is a varied role for an administrator to support the team of Planners and Paraplanners. The ideal candidate will need to be able to work flexibly to pick up a wide variety of tasks that are required through the day to allow us to provide our clients with the highest standard of service, including: Preparing documentation for Planners in advance of their client meetings, including requesting valuations and policy details. Request specific policy information from product providers, 3rd parties via email and telephone and online. Sending LOAs to clients, and tracking progress of policy information received. Liaise closely with our centralised Financial Planning Administration team regarding new business submissions and ongoing cases. Ad hoc tasks Client contact via letters, emails and telephone. Pre-completing forms/documentation for sending to clients. Maintenance of client records (on Xplan) to ensure client data is up to date. Completing client workflows and tasks in XPlan in line with company policy. Working in line with company compliance processes and documentation requirements. Develop and maintain effective relationships with clients, colleagues and 3rd parties What skills and knowledge are we seeking? Good attention to detail and strong organisation skills. Proactive and engaged. Excellent telephone manner, listens actively and questions to clarify own understanding. Prioritises and makes effective use of time, with flexibility to work in line with the changing needs of the team. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Strong team ethic. Works co-operatively and effectively with colleagues to complete tasks and achieve targets. Builds strong internal and external relationships. Treats others with courtesy and understanding, remains friendly and approachable. Experience using Microsoft Office. Any other attributes that would be desirable, but not essential? Experience using XPlan. Previous experience in Financial Services with an IFA or Wealth Management company.
