Electrical Site Supervisor
Athertons is looking for an experienced and dedicated Electrical Site Supervisor to join the growing team. Clients include construction firms, local authorities, nuclear companies, educational establishments, zoos and more.
This is an exciting opportunity for an Electrical Site Supervisor to join a team based in the Wirral but mainly working on contracts in the North West and Wales. This is a full time, permanent position working 40 hours a week. Van with fuel card and personal use included in package.
Responsibilities for the Electrical Site Supervisor will include:
* Be able to be the NICEIC QS for the area
* Manage and supervise trade operatives and sub-contractors
* The role of the Electrical Site Supervisor is to support the Site Manager in the organisation and co-ordination of site-based activities and to lead and co-ordinate teams of Electrical Engineering trade professionals on site.
* The Supervisor will be responsible for tracking and recording of site daily activities and progress. They will lead their teams to deliver to quality, on time and to budget in a safe and efficient manner. They will deal with obstacles and develop team capacity.
* Commercial - Time/schedule management, Submit Labour allocation sheets, Manage and record weekly progress
* Scope Management - Review and understand Tender Scope of works, Review and agree Site Set-up, Assist in the development of commissioning strategy, Generate Snag Lists in line with quality plan, Update Hazard Identification Log, Conducts "Tool Box" talks and keeps attendance records in the site safety file.
* Assist Site manager in all aspects of delivery of the project
* Consistent delivery of an efficient and cost-effective customer-focused operational repairs service, covering all maintenance and repairs
* Assist in the implantation of processes for the continuous improvement of the organisation’s performance management plans
* Ensure the results of inspection and testing of electrical work is recorded accurately
* Effectively manage all works
The successful Electrical SIte Supervisor will be/ have:
* Experienced in all aspects of electrical discipline.
* Qualified supervisory experience.
* Experience working within a social housing environment.
* Previous experience as an NICEIC QS essential, and experience using NICEIC ceritifcation website.
* Excellent problem solving skills.
* 18th Edition or equivalent.
* C&G NVQ L3
* Gold Card
