Working hours: 37 Hours (7.24 Monday – Friday)

This is an exciting opportunity to join Team Caerphilly and provide support across the wider Facilities Maintenance Team.
We pay an attractive salary of £45,718 - £48,710 and offer access to training and development opportunities.
The Principal Compliance Officer at Caerphilly Council will lead the Compliance team to ensure the safety and compliance of Caerphilly Homes’ properties.
Key responsibilities include developing and implementing the Compliance Management Strategy, managing statutory and non statutory compliance, and overseeing property audits and contractor performance. The role requires collaboration across the Council, budget management, and ensuring adherence to relevant legislation and best practices.
The successful candidate will provide dynamic leadership, maintain accurate compliance data, and drive service improvements to meet the needs of contract holders and stakeholders.
For the role, we ask that you have:
A Relevant Level 6 (Degree) qualification on the Credit and Qualifications Framework for Wales.
A sound understanding and appreciation of Compliance, Health and Safety and financial management.
Experience in managing risks associated with statutory compliance and safety of property assets with specific emphasis on fire safety, water hygiene and asbestos.
