Information Technology Business Development Manager
Central Employment is partnering with an established and expanding managed services provider based in Teesside, seeking a commercially focused IT Business Development Manager to drive growth by selling their full suite of managed services, connectivity, and cloud solutions.
Base Pay: Circa £30k, OTE £50k+, benefits including car allowance or company car.
Location: Teesside, split between office and field (North East).
IT Business Development Manager Profile:
The primary role of a Business Development Manager is to sell the group's Managed Services to new clients in the North East of England. A good knowledge and understanding of how to sell technologies and services, ideally from the Tech/IT or Software sectors, is essential. You will work closely with prospects to ensure they receive the best value services and products.
Main Responsibilities:
* Respond to inbound sales and new business inquiries.
* Conduct cold outreach (social, phone, and some canvassing) to gain new customers.
* Attend sales meetings and maximize sales to customers.
* Manage your own customer database - sales and after sales.
* Increase revenue from your customer base through upselling and cross-selling additional IT services and solutions.
* Handle inquiries regarding upgrades, cross-selling, and customer deals.
* Must have B2B Sales experience of at least 3 years.
* Demonstrated interest in IT and Technology.
* Proven track record of acquiring new customers.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
* Strong interpersonal skills with an emphasis on customer satisfaction and relationship management.
