Description
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse RMN (Registered Mental Nurse) to join our dynamic team within the Hospital Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS). This role is pivotal in providing high-quality mental health care and support to young patients facing a variety of emotional and psychological challenges. As a Nurse RMN within CAMHS, you will play an essential role in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care for children and adolescents. This position demands a commitment to promoting the mental well-being of young individuals, and you will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to establish and execute personalized care plans. Your contribution will directly impact patients' recovery journeys, encompassing therapeutic interventions, crisis management, and ongoing support. You will also engage with families and caregivers to provide education and resources aimed at fostering a supportive environment at home. Responsibilities
1. Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' mental health needs.
2. Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
3. Provide therapeutic interventions and support to children and adolescents facing mental health challenges.
4. Monitor patients' progress and adapt care plans as necessary to ensure effective treatment.
5. Engage with families to provide education and support regarding their child's mental health.
6. Participate in crisis intervention and management to stabilize acute situations.
7. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation according to legal and organizational standards.
Requirements
1. Registered Mental Nurse (RMN) qualification with a valid NMC registration.
2. Experience in Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) or similar environments.
3. Strong understanding of mental health issues in children and adolescents.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with young patients and their families.
5. Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
6. Demonstrated ability to manage crisis situations effectively.
7. Commitment to ongoing professional development and adherence to best practices in mental health care.

Start Time: 08:00; 20:15
End Time: 20:15; 08:00
Pay Per Hour: £25.00
Location: Stafford, Staffordshire
