What you will do:
1. Provide maintenance and installation for fleet of equipment in a specific region (Gloucestershire / Worcestershire area).
2. Evaluate customer needs, defines their expectations, plan and organise service, maintenance or installation work.
3. Evaluate, troubleshoot and carry out repairs on equipment.
4. Provide customers with detailed instructions, perform and coordinate installations, maintenance, testing and corrective actions.
5. Maintain electronic records of site visits and activities in the format and frequency required by Sealed Air.
6. Maintain up-to-date knowledge on all technical aspects of Sealed Air's packaging systems.
7. Coordinate activities with Sales, Systems & Integration and customers to ensure fast response, establish routine maintenance and testing for optimal operation and to optimise utilisation of Company resources.
8. Maintain open communication with Sales, Systems & Integration and Applications & System promotion engineers to ensure all information involving the project and customer activities is communicated.
9. Manage specific projects with timely progress, reviewing and approving relevant documentation, analysing data regarding equipment performance, maintenance, replacements, corrective actions, customer needs and other project elements, and planning the most efficient execution of maintenance and installations.
10. Develop sales from existing customers by encouraging the use/upgrade of packaging systems. Propose packaging evaluation and design projects where opportunities exist for increased sales.
11. Ensure all activities are in compliance with Company, regional, and customer standards, policies and procedures and safety rules.
What you will need:
12. HNC in electrical engineering
13. Basic knowledge of PLC
14. Good knowledge of Pneumatics
15. Excellent mechanical skills
16. Strong troubleshooting capabilities
17. Confident to train customers on machinery, deal with customers in a breakdown situation and build strong customer relationships
18. Computer literate
19. Professional telephone manner
20. Willing to travel and work some weekends
21. Good knowledge of English
22. Full drivers licence
