Collaborating closely with the T&O Resource Manager, Directorate Manager and other key stakeholders, youll ensure compliance with policies, monitor performance, and manage resources to align with the Trusts strategic goals. Main duties of the job Leadership & Team Management: Oversee and mentor admin teams, manage performance, recruit staff, and ensure mandatory training and appraisals are completed. Pathway & Target Management: Monitor waiting lists and ensure compliance with national RTT, cancer, and diagnostic targets. Lead capacity planning to maintain efficient service delivery. Communication & Coordination: Act as a key liaison between consultants, multidisciplinary teams, and admin staff. Chair meetings, handle patient complaints, and ensure accurate data exchange. Data & Systems Expertise: Serve as the Meditech V6 expert, leading system upgrades and ensuring staff are well-trained. Use performance data to identify and address concerns proactively. Quality Assurance: Ensure the administrative function meets Trust policies, maintains confidentiality, and supports clinical governance initiatives.
