The role: The Supply Planner will be part of the EMEA Operations Planning team, based in Greenford, London. The role involves managing and optimizing finished goods inventory across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. The planner will work closely with the demand planning, project, and raw material planning teams to ensure the successful coordination of forecasts, supply management, and production plans, all while ensuring on-time project launches and meeting customer demand. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and manage short and long-term supply plans to ensure stock availability and meet inventory targets. - Manage purchase orders with co-packers, including confirming delivery dates, quantities, and product details. - Identify and address risks related to slow-moving or obsolete products in collaboration with cross-functional teams. - Monitor potential stock shortages and adjust supply plans as necessary to ensure availability. - Support new product development by aligning supply plans with project timelines. - Ensure accurate phase-in and phase-out management, reducing business waste risks. - Maintain purchase orders and master data within SAP for reliable operational planning. - Build strong working relationships with suppliers and internal teams. - Regularly update planning parameters in SAP/APO and review them to optimize inventory levels. - Monitor co-packer performance, addressing issues proactively and driving continuous improvement. - Issue supply plans regularly to co-packers, ensuring formal supply reviews in line with S&OP processes. - Plan long-term capacity and create contingency plans to address potential issues. - Analyse demand and supply patterns to define optimal stock levels for each SKU. - Conduct root cause analysis on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as out-of-stock incidents, inventory turns, and plan compliance. About you: - Minimum of 3 years of experience in supply planning within the FMCG industry. - Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - A strong sense of urgency and accountability. - Team player with experience working in cross-functional, international teams. - Ability to perform well under pressure. - Strong mathematical skills, including unit conversion. - Familiarity with MRP (Material Requirements Planning). - Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel. - Experience with SAP is desirable. - Ability to work independently, set goals, and meet deadlines.
