We are currently seeking a Procurement Manager to support growth across our Infrastructure and Transportation programmes. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a business known for delivering high-quality services within complex environments. Working with clients across the public and private sectors, you will leverage your skills—technical and others—to share your knowledge, expertise, and experience, ultimately delivering outstanding services. You will collaborate with our clients and their supply chain partners to develop and deliver solutions to complex and dynamic problems.
Your Responsibilities:
1. Developing Commercial Governance Procedures, Processes, and Systems, including eSourcing and eEvaluation Systems.
2. Category Management.
3. Developing Packaging/Lotting Strategies.
4. Managing dynamic purchasing systems and auctions in both public and private sectors.
5. Contract Negotiation within Competitive Dialogue or Negotiation settings.
6. Commercial and Contract/Project Management.
7. Key Account Management (KAM), Risk and Opportunity Management.
8. Project financing, including debt or equity.
9. Contributing to the growth of procurement as a profession within F+G, with experience in winning work being advantageous.
What You Can Bring:
1. Degree qualification; MCIPS or working towards it, or similar certification.
2. Awareness of procurement delivery models and routes to market for various contracts.
3. Experience in procurement on major programmes and complex projects across sectors like infrastructure, building, engineering, manufacturing, oil, and gas.
4. Knowledge of collaborative procurement frameworks such as Alliances, Partnering, ECI, and Multi-lotted frameworks.
5. Experience with construction contracts like NEC, JCT, FIDIC, and understanding public sector regulations.
6. Ability to conduct cost analyses and benchmarking reports.
7. Experience in developing and managing procurement activities, including tendering, negotiations, governance, and contract awards.
8. Strong stakeholder engagement skills, working effectively with legal, finance, engineering, and programme teams.
9. Experience working closely with clients and stakeholders, devising commercial policies, and developing bespoke contractual models.
