Job Description
New Directions are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced PPA Teacher to join one of our well known schools in the Machen area beginning September 2024. This role will involve covering classes in Key Stage 2. The successful candidate will deliver high quality teaching during teachers’ planning, preparation and assessment time.
This is an exciting opportunity and we expect you to exhibit a passion for raising student expectations and achievements by performing the requirements below:
1. Deliver engaging and effective lessons across Key Stage 2, following the schools curriculum.
2. Provide over for teachers during their PPA time.
3. Collaborate with other staff to ensure continuity and progression in students learning.
4. Ensure a positive and inclusive learning environment.
5. Adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of all students.
6. Access and monitor student progress, providing feedback where necessary.
7. Maintain good Classroom Management in line with the schools policies.
