Job Description
Provide interpretation services for resettled Refugees to support the promotion, delivery, and integration of the Council's key objectives, particularly relating to the Community Plan and shared commitments.
Requirements
The duties involve Regulated Work with children and/or protected adults, as specified in the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. Successful applicants must become a PVG Scheme member for Regulated Work with these groups, or have an existing PVG Scheme Record Update, before a formal employment offer can be made. PVG records are regularly updated, and any relevant disclosures will be discussed with the applicant prior to employment.

Additional Information
This is a full-time temporary position until 31st March 2026, based at Holmquarry House, Kilmarnock. Working hours are 35 per week: Monday to Thursday 9am-5pm, Friday 9am-4pm. Salary ranges from £25,953 to £27,173 annually. The workstyle is flexible, with 50-79% office-based, and occasional remote work.
