You will be a key member of the senior leadership team for Food Chemistry and Microbiology Testing in the UK, reporting directly to the Cluster Director. As a Business Unit Manager, you will: Develop and implement a strategic plan to grow the microbiology business unit, ensuring alignment with company goals. Lead the business unit’s financial performance, including full P&L accountability, budgeting, and cost control. Drive operational excellence, ensuring the lab operates efficiently, complies with ISO 17025 standards, and maintains a strong focus on quality and safety. Build and lead a high-performing team of approximately 50 employees, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, retention, and professional development. Manage customer relationships by translating client needs into operational delivery, developing new methods, and ensuring timely and accurate reporting. Support cross-functional collaboration within the Eurofins network to identify and leverage business opportunities. Act as a technical and commercial point of contact, working closely with customers to maintain satisfaction and foster growth.
