Status: Full Time Fixed Term Role until March 2026 Hours: 35 hours per week Closing Date: Tuesday 14th January 2024 - 12 noon Interview Date: Tuesday 28th January 2024 Overall Purpose of the Role The North East Eradication Coordinator will ensure the creation, delivery, and monitoring of the Saving Scotland’s Red Squirrels North East eradication effort in accordance with the SSRS project plan. Primary responsibilities include the design, coordination, planning, and oversight of efforts to achieve complete eradication of grey squirrels from the region and prevent new incursion from the central lowlands. This will include development of an Eradication Plan, confirmation and post-eradication monitoring including, working with the team and partners to develop and implement novel detection, removal, and analysis methods as required, whilst line managing the SSRS Aberdeen team.
