Your role is about supporting millions of people in the UK in the Move to Universal Credit. You will be the first point of contact for our customers. You'll provide support, reassurance and guidance over the phone and email, helping people that are adapting to significant change to their benefits. You'll be based in our new Wrexham Service Centre, which is located a 5 minute walk from Wrexham general railway station and the bus station. There are lots of places near by to do your shopping and get your lunch too. We understand the importance of work-life balance and we have a great flexible working offer. After your initial onboarding period - during which you'll receive comprehensive support and guidance - you'll have access to hybrid working. This means you can work from our Service Centre two days a week on a shift rotation between the hours of 8 am and 6 pm and the rest of the time at home. We call this role an Administrative Officer (AO) in DWP but it will be great for you if you've got skills in customer service, call handling and admin or you're looking to work in a job like that.
