RG Consultancy are working with a very well established manufacturing business in Stockport who are looking to recruit an Accounts Manager. This is a stand-alone role to manage the accounts and payroll for an SME. You will report back to the Managing Director of the business.

The Role:
* Manage the purchase ledger and sales ledger function.
* Raise invoices, matching against deliveries, set up and maintain new suppliers.
* Perform bank reconciliations.
* Credit control, chasing late payments and resolving any queries.
* Provide P&L support to the Managing Director.
* Manage and process a small payroll.
* Be the first point of contact for any accounts queries.
* Manage the accounts inbox and answer the phone.
* Liaise with the company's external accountant.
The Person:
* Experience working in an all-around accounts role for an SME.
* An AAT qualification would be an advantage.
* Experience using SAGE would be an advantage.
* Confident communicator both written and verbally.
