Role Summary: The Maintenance Specialist will work within an Integration and Maintenance Squad supporting North Sea assets and report into the Maintenance Specialist Discipline lead. The Maintenance Specialists is the Single Point of Accountability (SPA) for medium to high complexity maintenance work within their assigned squad and will own the end to end delivery of safety critical and business critical work. They are responsible for processing quality maintenance orders and producing work packs, following the Global Work Management standard. There will be a requirement to be an interface between the maintenance and engineering teams to ensure all work is planned with the right level of quality detail. Key Accountabilities: Lead the safe and efficient execution of maintenance activity in adherence to bp global Work Management and Activity Integration processes with a emphasis on execution readiness and right first time execution. Ensure work planning is completed to a high standard and seek feedback from key stakeholders both onshore and offshore. Support their assigned squad and the wider regional team to implement best practice in work preparation and execution. Maximise value through the implementation of Agile working practices and priotitisation of tasks based on value to the business. Manage the delivery of 3rd party vendors by setting clear standards for work quaility and safe execution. Monitor progress and provide feedback as part of Performance Reviews. Regularly review and provide input into the Maintenance Build and Preventative Maintenance Strategies to improve quaility and optimise delivery. Support building and managing of maintenance budgets Essential education, experience and requirements: Technical degree or equivalent experience Maintenance experience in the oil and gas industry Knowledge of offshore facilities and typical equipment used Experience in taking the lead in planning complex work Proven track record demonstrating strong attention to detail Strong interpersonal and influence skills Demonstrated ability to network and influence across teams Knowledge of safety management systems for maintenance preparation/execution activities Desirable Criteria: Project management experience Proficient using SAP PM and Microsoft Office Site Leadership/Supervision experience on Oil and Gas, Pertochemical or Energy industry facilities. OGUK/Optio offshore medical certificate and survival training. Additional Information: The role will be based in the Aberdeen offices but will be operationg on a 60/40 split office to home working.
