The Senior Business Development Manager (EMEA) is responsible for driving sales revenue in the EMEA region, while increasing the company’s solid state drive (SSD) market share, profitability and strategic value.
This key position requires strong knowledge of the semiconductor industry and embedded markets coupled with a proven track record of consistent sales and business development success in managing large territories.
Strong ability to work with customers’ program managers, engineers, procurement and senior management to secure new design wins for Greenliant products on a regular basis.
Technical and market understanding of use cases of solid state drives and BGA SSDs (eMMC, PATA, SATA, NVMe/PCIe, UFS) in embedded systems is a plus.
High-level knowledge of the competitive landscape and familiarity with different memory/storage interfaces, protocols and standards are ideal.
Key Competency Requirements
* Lead territory sales toward achieving business goals (revenue, gross profit, market share).
* Maintain major account management and consistently develop new profitable opportunities (lead generation, cross-selling, upselling).
* Drive sales representative companies to achieve quarterly and annual sales objectives.
* Work on sales channel programs and collaborate with regional distribution headquarters.
* Closely work with Application Engineering to address all customer inquiries for technical support.
* Work in tandem with Greenliant’s Marketing team on regular product training for sales channels and trade show participation.
* Provide monthly, quarterly and annual sales forecasts.
Education & Experience Required
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required.
* Five or more years of experience in a sales and or marketing environment in Semiconductors.
* Prior work experience with a memory, NAND flash or SSD company is preferred.
* General market knowledge of major embedded systems companies in industrial, networking, automotive/transportation, mil-aero, video and security market segments is desirable.
* Working experience with major distributors such as Avnet, Arrow, Future, Digi-Key and Mouser is a plus.
* Familiarity with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and CRM/sales force management software tools.
* Strategic forecast planning and strong attention to report data accuracy.
* Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
* Readiness to travel up to 25%.
