Senior Quantity Surveyor Key Responsibilities:
Cost Management: Oversee all aspects of cost planning, estimation, and control throughout the project life cycle to ensure budget compliance.
Contract Administration: Manage contracts from inception to completion, including handling variations, claims, and dispute resolution.
Tendering and Procurement: Lead the preparation of tender documents, evaluate bids, and negotiate contracts with suppliers and subcontractors.
Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimise impact on project delivery.
Financial Reporting: Prepare and present regular financial reports to stakeholders, detailing project progress and financial status.
Valuation and Payments: Conduct valuations and process progress payments, ensuring timely certification of completed work.
Client Liaison: Maintain strong relationships with clients, providing regular updates and addressing any concerns promptly.
Compliance: Ensure all projects adhere to legal, regulatory, and company standards.
Senior Quantity Surveyor Requirements:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
Experience: Extensive experience in quantity surveying within the construction industry, particularly on projects up to £15m+
Framework Knowledge: Proven experience working with PDF, Scape, and SPS frameworks or NEC contracts.
