We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated E-commerce Assistant to join our team and help us drive our online and offline sales. Position Overview: We are seeking a highly-organised, dynamic, and customer-focused individual to assist with the day-to-day operations of our e-commerce business. This role will involve managing online store activities, supporting with digital marketing, inventory management, customer service, and also providing assistance on the shop floor. We are looking for someone who is eager to learn, adaptable, and can thrive in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: E-commerce Management: Assist in the management of our online store (product uploads, inventory updates, order fulfillment). Ensure the website is up-to-date with accurate product descriptions, images, and stock levels. Support with online customer service, including handling queries via email, live chat, and social media channels. Monitor and analyze website traffic and sales trends, reporting insights to the team to optimize performance. In-store Support: Provide excellent customer service on the shop floor, helping customers find products and answering queries. Assist with maintaining the store’s visual merchandising and stock replenishment to ensure a seamless in-store experience. Support the team with inventory checks and assist with stock management. Participate in in-store events and promotions to drive sales and engage with customers. General Administration: Assist with order processing, packaging, and shipping both online and in-store orders. Help manage returns and exchanges for both online and in-store customers. Assist with social media updates and content creation as needed. Collaboration & Team Support: Work closely with the wider team to help implement and execute marketing campaigns. Bring fresh ideas and creative solutions to drive sales both online and offline. Assist with other ad-hoc tasks as required to ensure the smooth running of the business. Skills & Experience: Previous experience in an e-commerce or retail role (preferably both online and in-store). Strong interest in e-commerce and digital marketing trends. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced, small team environment. Comfortable with customer interaction both online (via email, chat, etc.) and face-to-face in-store. Familiarity with e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, WooCommerce) is a plus. Knowledge of social media platforms and basic content creation skills. A proactive and adaptable approach, with a can-do attitude. Experience with stock management and order fulfillment processes is advantageous. Flexibility to work both in-store and remotely, depending on business needs.
