What we are looking for:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Finance Assistant to join our Finance team in Birmingham part-time or full time. You will need to be someone who enjoys change and variety in their work. Working within finance you will have strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to your work. We are a technology company, so you will also need to enjoy working with new computer systems and embracing new challenges.
What you will be doing:
Outbound calling- chasing outstanding payments for overdue customer accounts
Processing purchase ledger invoices, ensuring accurate data entry, coding and matching PO’s
Dealing with invoice queries, ensuring they are tracked and resolved efficiently
Communicating with clients, building and providing a trusted service
Bank reconciliations
General administration duties
Reviewing and updating current processes where needed
What skills are we looking for:
Essential
Experience of using accounting software.
Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office & Excel.
Ability to work effectively as part of a small team.
Excellent organisational and time management skills.
A clear communicator able to talk to people at all levels.
