About the Role
As a Maintenance Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our production lines. You’ll work hands-on with a wide range of machinery, including conveyors, motors, gearboxes, fillers, capping machines, and more. From troubleshooting issues to implementing preventive maintenance and driving continuous improvement, your expertise will be essential to minimizing downtime and enhancing performance.
Key Responsibilities
1. Support production by setting up and maintaining equipment to minimize downtime.
2. Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues.
3. Perform preventative and planned maintenance for a variety of equipment.
4. Conduct routine inspections and resolve potential issues proactively.
5. Lead continuous improvement projects, new machinery installations, and modifications.
6. Maintain an accurate inventory of spare parts and document all maintenance activities.
What We’re Looking For
1. Qualifications in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering/Maintenance.
2. Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills (both electrical & mechanical).
3. Experience in mechanical maintenance and the ability to read technical manuals and drawings.
4. A proactive mindset with a commitment to Health & Safety and Food Safety standards.
