Reporting to our Senior Technical Product Manager, we are looking for a motivated and clinical Product Business Analyst. The role will support gap analysis between client and business requirements and the current product functionality, so to define clear product objectives and design briefs to inform our development roadmap.
Key Responsibilities
The Analyst:
* Stakeholder Engagement: Actively engage with internal and external stakeholders to capture, document, and analyse business requirements for product improvement, so to inform product planning against strategic feature and technical goals.
* Market Analysis: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the latest technology trends and market shifts in the realms of smart building and workplace management, so to foster continuous innovation and competitive market edge for a global front-runner product position.
The Communication Facilitator:
* Cross-Team Clarity: Serve as the conduit for clear communication between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring a mutual understanding of feature goals, schedules, and expected outcomes.
* Documentation: Create clear requirement specifications to support review, planning and development of products. Document new features into a pack of information suitable for internal development planning, costing reviews, with appropriate levels of detail to support development and testing acceptance criteria.
Skills and Qualifications
Education and Experience
* Five (5) or more years of experience in business analysis and systems development, with proven analytical abilities.
* Experience in generating process documentation, user stories, and reports.
Technical Skills
* Excellent verbal communication skills, with an ability to listen to broad opinions and then steer conversations toward programmatic evaluation and clear actions.
* Excellent written communication skills, with an ability to translate complex and varied requirements, into actionable and precise product goals, feature descriptions, and user stories.
The successful applicant should also demonstrate these ‘nice to have’ skill sets.
* Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in information technology or computer science.
* Strong working knowledge of relevant software applications, including Word, Excel, Azure DevOps, Figma design planning tools.
* Proven ability to manage products, projects, and user testing.
* Extensive experience with data visualization.
* High proficiency in technical writing.
* Experience in smart building solutions or workplace technologies.
