Air Conditioning Engineer | Covering London & South East | Full Time | £40,000 - £45,000 per year depending on experience
An exciting opportunity is available for a skilled and dedicated Air Conditioning Engineer to join our client's team at their newly owned headquarters in Sevenoaks, Kent. The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, repair & installation of air conditioning systems in predominantly commercial settings.
Our client is a privately owned, family-run business established in 1988, specialising in air conditioning, refrigeration, and ventilation services. They are proud to be accredited installers and business partners for leading manufacturers such as Mitsubishi, Daikin, and other mainstream manufacturers.
They specialise in the service, repair & installation of a wide range of systems from split type units, ASHP’s, VRV/VRF systems and larger chilled water plants. They handle both the mechanical and electrical design aspects of air conditioning systems.
Their services cover London and the South East, although 70-80% of their work is within the London/M25 area.
Are you the right person for the job?
* Full UK driving licence
* Maintenance experience: 5 years (required)
* Air conditioning experience: 5 years (required)NVQ L2.
* NVQ Level 2
* F-Gas Certificate (required)
* Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge
* Excellent communication skills
* Leadership qualities to guide junior technicians and ensure high standards of work are maintained
What will your role look like?
* Reactive call outs - troubleshoot issues with air conditioning units and perform necessary repairs
* Conduct regular service inspections to ensure optimal performance of equipment
* Install, maintain, and repair various air conditioning systems
* Maintain accurate records of service performed and equipment status (FGAS etc)
* Collaborate with team members to build efficient solutions for client needs
* Provide guidance and training to junior engineers or apprentices as needed
* Interpret schematics and technical drawings to facilitate installation and repairs
* Ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices in all tasks
* Weekend call out rota
