An opportunity for an accomplished Sales Account Manager to join an established food supplier who provide fresh, quality products to a variety of sectors within the food service industry including, contract caterers, restaurants, gastro pubs, bars, schools to Michelin star restaurants and 5 star hotels in North West England. Reporting to the Sales Manager, they are looking for a Sales Account Manager to join their growing sales team. Duties and responsibilities of a Sales Account Manager: Processing orders via phone, email and online Dealing with customer enquiries and delivering great customer service at all times Customer retention; developing and building customer relationships Growing and developing the sales of existing accounts Using sales data to analyse customer spend and trends Managing customer prices and margins Cross selling and upselling, getting the most from your accounts Ensuring sales targets are met Main skills required: Previous sales and customer service experience preferably within foodservice Commitment to learning the industry Proven ability to work in a targeted sales environment Highly organised with effective time management skills Proficient in Word/Outlook/Excel Great communication skills, both written and verbal. Much of your work will be telephone based. Driven and motivated by targets Team player Flexible approach Willingness to learn Able to work well independently, enthusiastic and self-motivated On offer is a basic salary of £24,000 - £26,000, an uncapped OTE of £4,000 - £8,000, company pension scheme, employee discounts and store discounts
