We're looking for a HR Business Partner to join our Natural Resources, Nuclear and Networks team based in the South West of the UK.
Location: South West UK, hybrid working available, with travel to offices and sites as required.
Hours: 37.5 hours per week – some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.
What will you be responsible for?
As a HR Business Partner, you'll be working within the Natural Resources, Nuclear and Networks team, Business Partnering the respective Kier Natural Resources, Nuclear & Networks management team members with a strong focus on providing an innovative, effective and customer-focused service.
Your day to day will include:
* Support the Head of HR with managing the implementation of a commercially focused, legally compliant, people plan in line with the Natural Resources, Nuclear & Networks business strategy.
* Partner with the Operational and Functional leaders and operate as a credible and trusted partner, bringing people expertise and developing solutions to help each business area to deliver its strategy.
* Co-ordinate and manage all Employee Relations activity within designated areas of responsibility, and coach managers through processes, as required.
* Work collaboratively with our Talent & Acquisition partners and Managers to develop a hiring strategy and make the required changes to continuously drive improvements.
What are we looking for?
This role of HR Business Partner is great for you if:
* Degree qualified (or qualified by experience), high potential HR professional with experience of business partnering in medium/large organisations.
* Experience of working within an Alliance or JV environment is desirable.
* Good understanding of talent management and succession planning, leadership and management development, to support individual and business growth.
* Well-developed employee engagement and employee relations skills with up-to-date knowledge of employment legislation.
