The primary task is to manage the Corrective Actions systems (CAR and SCAR), which are in effect at Future Electronics. This will also include the researching of quality data and creating effective reporting that will aid in identifying root causes of any quality problems or failure analysis requests that are raised.
A fundamental part of the role is the maintenance, updating and creation of process diagrams and the quality and environmental systems to support the Quality & Environmental Engineers to maintain compliance to the certification standards – ISO 9001 Quality Management, AS9120 Aviation and ISO 14001 Environmental Management. To assist in the management of the quality and environmental management system
•To consider whether corrective action requests received by Quality and Environmental Management are to be assigned or rejected. The aim is to ensure that only recurring problems that affect quality, the environment or service are assigned for investigation
•Assess / verify the effectiveness of received responses from suppliers (SCARS, 8D reports), which outline root cause analyses and preventive actions. Manage Failure Analysis Requests & liaise with suppliers to arrange sample testing of defective parts
•Ideally educated to degree or diploma standard with a knowledge of Quality Management Systems including ISO 9001 plus an understanding of Environmental Management Systems 140001 required
•Able to collate and analyse quality and environmental data and to present in a professional manner
•Will be responsible for some aspects of product compliance, mainly data management
•Excellent communication and relationship building skills with our supplier base
