Area Head of LLP (Lead Logistics Provider)

What we offer
Get the opportunity to develop Maersk’s LLP product and translate global and regional strategies into area product and performance plans. You’ll work closely with Sales to create and develop opportunities with new and existing customers.
Working in conjunction with the Area Head of Logistics & Services and sales team; develop forward thinking strategic plans for market leading LLP products for the UK and Ireland area.
Drive the pricing strategy and support the execution of the business plans. You will be the P&L owner for the LLP product and accountable for the delivery of the financial targets, with numerous high profile accounts.

Key Responsibilities
1. Define and deliver the product strategy and roadmap, aligning with regional and global product teams.
2. Develop and align on sales strategies and customer targets with relevant Area Heads.
3. Manage the monthly P&L.
4. Drive product portfolio optimization and profitability by identifying market trends, customer needs and monitoring operating costs.
5. Promote continuous product development and innovation.
6. Be the connector between Delivery, Customer Experience, Sales, and other internal stakeholders.
7. Support strong customer and partner relationships.
8. Support the sales teams with Subject Matter Expert knowledge on pricing, solutions and market insights.
9. Area responsibility for pricing activities, cost saving initiatives, while complying with global governance.

3. Experience in Ocean logistics & supply chain management.
4. Exceptional networking skills and ability to build strong relationships internal stakeholders and customers.
5. Experience of working in a matrix organisation with excellent senior stakeholder management and communication skills.
6. Self-motivated and able to work on their own initiative.
7. Ability to work under pressure, handle multiple tasks and projects, and react and adjust quickly to changing conditions within a fast-paced environment.
8. Data driven with the ability to understand and translate into appropriate action plans.
9. Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex information to both internal and external stakeholders and customers.
