Job Description
General Objectives
1. Achieve exterior lighting sales targets and business objectives within Local Authority and Regeneration sectors.
2. Continuation and development of existing business.
3. Drive and assist in formulating and executing the business strategy, such as collecting market information and analyzing market trends, to increase market share.
4. Explore new business opportunities and maintain good relationships with customers, internal and external stakeholders.
5. Prepare sales reports, analyses, and presentations.
Main Tasks
1. Development of the sales potential of our strong brand together with our key customers.
2. Make an actionable business development plan and execute the plan.
3. Maintain Key Account Plans and monitor progress versus targets; take corrective action where needed.
4. Understand customer supply chains, decision-making units, and opportunities to identify solutions that bring customers competitive advantages.
5. Obtain a brief from the customer that can be developed into a specification and design for all types of lighting.
6. Seek opportunities with the customer to identify other areas of commercial benefit and develop sales for the company.
7. Provision of accurate sales forecasts.
8. Acquire and maintain complete knowledge of the company’s range of products and apply this knowledge to offer a complete solution to customer lighting needs.
9. Willingness to attend out-of-hours events and visit sites outside of normal working hours.
Qualifications
Educated to A Level or equivalent.
