Let us introduce the role AWE is currently recruiting for a Service Manager. In this role you would help deliver the Radiological Instrumentation and Calibration installed maintenance delivery programme. This is done via agreed collaboration with facility management teams, planners and various other stakeholders, then arranging the resource to attend and calibrate/ repair the assets. Who are we looking for? We do need you to have: ONC/HND or similar qualification in an engineering discipline with relevant experience gained in an engineering/maintenance environment. Whilst not to be considered a tick list, we would like you to have knowledge, experience and be able to demonstrate some of the following: Excellent planning and organising skills. Leadership skills with an aptitude for the development of effective team working and empowered delegation. Decision making skills that have either a high degree of complexity or diversity and takes prime accountability. High degree of personal drive, good communication and interpersonal skills and a positive and co-operative attitude. Possess strong motivational skills. Proven stakeholder engagement. Confident in Microsoft packages and knowledge of IT Asset Management systems. Writing and reviewing engineering documentation. Radiological instrumentation awareness. Experience in a maintenance engineering role. Demonstrable awareness of safety in the workplace. Supervising and training a team in an engineering environment.
