Your new company This integrated service provider is responsible for the maintenance and services of a significant number of UK highways and footpaths. Their community focus is an essential aspect of their work, which drives their success in delivering maintenance, severe weather operations, surfacing, specialist treatments, and incident response on the UK’s highways that they cover, all whilst maintaining sustainable practices. Your new role Reporting to the site and operations manager you will join the team in site operations. You will work your day to day will consist of Overseeing the construction works meeting the contract requirements. Managing the implementation of the Construction Phase plan ensuring health and safety regulations are being adhered to. Assisting with ensuring the construction programme is maintained including the TM designs are installed and demobilised to pre-determined times. Reviewing compliance with Quality plans, method statements, Risk assessments and inspection and test plans. Supporting management and taking control of site operations to track progress and take appropriate measures to avoid overrun. Collaborating with contractors to identify and discuss changes to works. Recording the completing work. Reporting inspections, sampling and testing to verify compliance, performing quality checks and addressing non-conformances. Providing details reports and communicating with management network occupancy activities such as TM proposals, road space booking, stakeholder liaison and so forth. About you We are looking for a detail-oriented individual who can manage contract compliance, quality assurance, and site documentation with precision. The ideal Traffic Management Supervisor will be an excellent communicator and will ideally tick the following Strong experience in the delivery of construction projects within the timeframe and budget. Previous experience working in Principal contractors’ obligations under CDM Regulations 2015 and role of the supervisor under the NEC. Familiarity with highway renewals and improvement schemes. CSCS card hold and SSSTS certificate. Excellent communication skills and high attention to detail
