Role summary: Reporting to the Risk & Information Governance Manager and working within the Risk & IG Team, the Information Governance Officer is responsible for the delivery of specialist Information Governance (IG) advice and supporting with the delivery of the IG agenda across the organisation. Raising awareness of Information Governance and providing educational and specialist IG advice to all departments. This person will also collaborate with the Risk & IG Team on the organisation’s information governance programme, including delivery of the requirements of NHS Digital’s Data Security and Protection Toolkit and ISO27001. Key to success in the role will be the development and maintenance of key working relationships across all areas of the business in relation to the risk and information governance agenda.
