What you’lldo
The Management Accountant playsa crucial role in our finance team by providing insightful andtimely financial analysis, reporting, and support to facilitatedecision-making and safeguard the financial health of ourorganisation.
Add value to the business byproviding timely and accurate financial analysis to enabledepartment heads to monitor regional / company performance. Provideregular management reporting to internal management by the agreeddeadlines.
Responsibilities
MonthlyReporting
* Responsibilityfor the review of monthly management accounts for designatedregions covering KPI, variance analysis and commentary inaccordance with the agreed corporate timetable for seniormanagement review.
* Collaborate with teamsacross finance, payroll and ledgers to ensure accurate transactionrecording & monitoring.
* To present draftand final results to department heads, interpret and explain keyvariances.
* Act as the finance departmentcontact for designated regions / companies; providing them withfinancial assistance and ad hoc analysis wherenecessary.
BudgetingandForecasting
* Responsiblefor the compilation of the annual budget in conjunction with thedepartment heads and finance businesspartners.
* Preparation of periodic revenue andexpenditure forecasts, variance analysis and commentary inaccordance with the agreed corporate timetable for seniormanagement review.
* To be able to interpret anddiscuss the forecast results with department heads and any risks oropportunities that may impact future financialperformance.
* Act as the finance departmentcontact for designated departments; providing them with financialassistance and ad hoc analysis wherenecessary.
Team
* Tobuild strong working relationships within finance and thebusiness.
* To contribute to the wider teamduring month end, forecast and budgeting to provide timely andaccurate reports and analysis for seniormanagement.
OtherDuties
* Providingvarious ad-hoc analysis as required within finance by financebusiness partners, Head of FP&A andCFO.
Qualifications
IdealExperience &Competencies
* Part orfully qualified Accountant
* Previous managementaccounting experience, particularly in interpreting and presentingresults to financial and non-financialindividuals.
* Strong analytical skills, accuracyand attention to detail
* Experience analysinglarge data sets
* Advanced Microsoft Excelskills, including proficiency in Vlookups, pivot tables, as well asfamiliarity with Microsoft Word, Outlook andPowerPoint.
* Excellent communicator and teamplayer.
* Organised, confident and driven toachieve.
* Creative problem solver with a drivefor continuous improvement and efficiency inprocesses.
