The Equipment Repair and Maintenance Specialist is responsible for repairing and maintaining the aesthetics of the live production loudspeaker rental stock, flight cases, and dollies, as well as fabricating custom metal and woodwork as needed. The role also supports the Building Maintenance & Health and Safety Manager in maintaining the UK sites.

Day-to-day tasks:
1. Preparing work standards and schedules, executing equipment maintenance programs.
2. Maintaining the annual repair program for loudspeaker stock, including flight case repairs.
3. Maintaining paint booth equipment (pressure pots/top loaders).
4. Estimating project costs and managing budgets.
5. Performing routine maintenance such as painting, carpentry, plumbing, and lighting changes.
6. Making minor repairs and coordinating major repairs with tradespeople.
7. Overseeing maintenance of external building works and car parks.
8. Handling other ad-hoc requests as required by management.
Essential skills / experience:
1. Insightful problem identification within health, safety, and building maintenance.
2. Knowledge of health, safety, and risk management.
3. Understanding of current health and safety legislation and standards.
4. Availability to respond to emergency calls and travel as needed.
5. Flexibility to work extra hours when necessary.
6. Extensive experience in the building trade.
7. Certification as a skilled worker in one or more trades.
Level of education:
1. Industry-related degree or equivalent.
2. Minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience.
