We are seeking a highly motivated Part 3 Qualified Architect with 1-3 years post-qualification experience to join our team and contribute to our growing portfolio. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate on all phases of design, from initial concepts to detailed design development. Contribute creative, innovative, and practical design solutions while ensuring alignment with project briefs, budgets, and timelines. Oversee architectural projects from inception to completion, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, and coordinating with contractors, consultants, and other professionals. Ensure the smooth delivery of projects within agreed timelines and quality standards. Build and maintain strong client relationships. Interpret client requirements and provide expert guidance, ensuring effective communication throughout the project lifecycle. Stay up-to-date with UK building regulations, zoning laws, and planning policies. Liaise with relevant authorities to secure necessary approvals and permits for projects. Apply strong technical knowledge in architectural detailing, construction methods, and material specifications. Produce comprehensive construction documentation, drawings, and technical specifications. Advocate for sustainable and environmentally responsible design practices. Integrate energy-efficient solutions and sustainable materials into projects where feasible. Work closely with interdisciplinary teams, including structural engineers, interior designers, and landscape architects, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment. Ensure high standards of accuracy, quality, and consistency across all design and documentation work. Conduct regular quality checks and reviews to maintain excellence in deliverables. Qualifications and Skills: Part 3 Qualification with 1-3 years of post-qualification experience and ARB registered. Proficiency of working with AutoCad, SketchUp and Adobe Suite are essential. The successful applicant must have a positive attitude with proven proficiency working collaboratively within a team setting, a strong work ethic and a solid ability to work with accuracy and take responsibility for their own work, adapting to HIERON Design’s culture and values. In-depth understanding of UK building regulations, planning policies, and zoning laws. Demonstrated experience in design development, technical detailing, and project management, seeing projects through from RIBA Stages 2-7. Confidence to work with consultants and coordinate design. Strong project-management skills and an ability to meet deadlines and milestones. Good team player with the ability to manage the work of more junior team members Strong organisational, creative, and presentation skills.
