An exciting opportunity has come up to join the Market Insight team within the Marketing department. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who has an interesting is exploring competitors marketing activity, understanding market trends and themes, whilst also wanting to be an insight beacon for internal customers across both Marketing and the wider business. Be a part of a team that is expected to grow during 2025 as the business focuses more on putting customer centricity at the heart of its decision-making. As part of a small team which reaches across both customer / consumer research as well as market and competitor insight, this role will require you to be pro-active in identifying and surfacing key trends and insights across the financial services market, which is turn will help drive understanding within the business and lead to actionable outcomes. You'll be responsible for the creation, management, and distribution of a variety of insight reporting streams in senior stakeholders, whilst continuing to develop your knowledge and expertise across various insight resources to ensure we're unearthing the more relevant and actionable insights. The Responsibilities
* Maintain, deliver, and continue to develop, a variety of reports covering both financial services trends, media spend, as well as competitor marketing activities
* Support on the communication of key news stories, financial articles, industry reports (e.g. Mintel), as well as insight communications from our suppliers
* Support the Senior Market Insight Manager on delivery and maintenance across workstreams including operational benchmarking and brand tracking
* Lead and maintain the Customer Document Mapping project (i.e. Spy Academy)
* Maintain and support on the Insight Network SharePoint for the team
* Liaise with teams within Marketing and the wider business, to understand their insight needs and how the Market Insight team can deliver ongoing value to these areas
* Build your knowledge of various insight tools and become a subject matter expert on these and how they can best address internal business queries
* Present actionable insights within various Marketing meetings, as well as identify opportunities to further showcase the insights
* Keep up to date with trends affecting consumers, competitors, and the wider insurance / financial service market
The ability to analysis market data, competitor activities, and industry trends, both across quantitative and qualitative data sources
* Strong written and verbal communication skills using storytelling to highlight themes to inform and influence business decisions / stakeholders
* Confident speaking and presenting to stakeholders of various levels of seniority
* The ability to prioritise tasks, solve problems, and manage time effectively
* Understanding of the insurance industry, including key competitors, marketing strategies, as well as current consumer challenges
* Good numerical and analytics skills
* Knowledge and understanding of marketing terminology
* A sound knowledge of Microsoft applications, as well as tools such as Canva and JIRA
* Familiarity with market research tools and competitive intelligence software such as Mintel, Statista, Nielsen, and Similarweb
* Willing to speak up and provide new ideas / suggestions to improve current processes
