We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Facilities and Leasing Manager to join our People team. This is a Hybrid role with an expectation to be present in Milton Keynes weekly. This position is a remote role and will require nationwide travel.
Reporting to the Asset Director, this role will be responsible for overseeing the management, maintenance, and leasing of the company’s property portfolio. This role involves ensuring our facilities are well-maintained, safe, and compliant, while also handling leasing agreements, negotiations, and property acquisitions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in property management, lease administration, and facilities operations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Oversee the day-to-day management of company-owned or leased properties, ensuring they are safe, functional, and compliant with regulations.
2. Manage lease agreements, including negotiations, renewals, rent reviews, and compliance with lease terms.
3. Act as the primary point of contact for landlords, tenants, and property management firms.
4. Develop and implement maintenance schedules, ensuring facilities are in optimal condition.
5. Coordinate repairs, renovations, and refurbishments as required, working with contractors and service providers.
6. Monitor and manage budgets related to facility maintenance, lease agreements, and property costs.
7. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations across all properties.
8. Identify opportunities to optimise space utilisation and cost savings on property leases.
9. Conduct regular inspections and audits of facilities to assess condition and address any concerns.
10. Provide reports and recommendations to senior management on property performance, leasing strategies, and cost efficiencies.
Skills & Experience:
1. Proven experience in facilities management, property management, or leasing administration.
2. Strong knowledge of lease agreements, negotiations, and property laws.
3. Excellent organisational and project management skills.
4. Strong financial acumen and experience managing budgets.
5. Ability to work with stakeholders, landlords, and external service providers effectively.
6. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
7. Relevant qualifications in Facilities Management, Real Estate, or a related field (preferred).
