Procurement Director
Tasks & Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement a procurement strategy that supports all business units and entities.
2. Manage the procurement and supply chain budget, ensuring cost control and financial efficiency in collaboration with Finance and other key stakeholders.
3. Drive innovation and continuous improvement across key processes, technology, products, and services.
4. Lead strategic cost optimization efforts through people, process improvements, technology, and contractual efficiencies.
5. Establish robust governance and controls for all procurement activities, including both direct and indirect categories.
6. Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing procurement and supply chain team, fostering a collaborative and results-driven culture.
7. Drive transformative changes in support of strategic and operational objectives.
8. Oversee the end-to-end procurement process, including supplier selection, contract negotiation, and supplier performance management.
9. Develop and instil standardized frameworks for supplier selection, contracts, and RFQs.
10. Develop sourcing strategies to secure high-quality materials and services at competitive prices.
11. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
12. Promote sustainable procurement and supply chain practices in line with Policies.
Qualifications & Experience:
1. Extensive experience in procurement and supply chain, with a proven track record in senior leadership roles.
2. Expertise in procurement within construction-related industries is advantageous.
3. Ability to craft a clear vision and sourcing roadmap with advanced technology integration.
4. Exceptional cross-functional collaboration skills, both internally and externally.
5. Proven experience in leading procurement functions.
6. Proficiency with sourcing tools including Spend Analytics, Contract Management, and P2P platforms. Knowledge of Procore is advantageous but not essential.
7. Experience working in a scale-up business environment and adept at managing ambiguity and change.
8. Strong negotiation skills and experience in contract management and supplier relationship management.
9. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
