Registered Manager Children's Home - Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role as a Registered Manager for a therapeutic residential children's home in Worcester Park, South West London. The Registered Manager will be responsible for overseeing the home's day-to-day operations, managing the care team, ensuring the well-being of residents, and implementing therapeutic programs to support the children. The role requires DBS, references and 2 years of experience in children’s residential care.
Registered Manager Children's Home - Qualifications
* Strong focus on children's welfare and proactive approach to safeguarding
* Knowledge of London Safeguarding Procedures 2024
* Excellent understanding of Children's Homes (2015) England Regulations and Care Standards
* Communication and People Management skills
* Experience in Residential management - at least 2 years
* Excellent organisational and leadership skills
* Knowledge of relevant regulations and policies in social care and CAF
* Previous experience working in a similar role - 2 years minimum
* Level 5 qualification in HSC (desired but not essential)
