As National Account Executive in the Convenience sector, you’ll take ownership of driving wine sales across the independent off-trade sector, working within a national buying group. You’ll build strong commercial relationships, execute strategic sales plans, and exceed sales targets, making a significant impact on the business’s success.
Based in Head Office in Newbury 1 day per week, this role offers a salary of up to £36,000 DOE, alongside a generous bonus scheme and benefits package, including 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays and your birthday off), car allowance, opportunities for career progression, and much more!
Key Responsibilities of the National Account Executive role:
* Develop and nurture relationships with key accounts across independent Cash and Carrys, symbol groups, and convenience stores.
* Act as the primary point of contact for designated accounts, facilitating seamless communication and collaboration.
* Execute promotional campaigns and secure seasonal offers with retailers.
* Create and implement tailored sales plans to achieve growth and profitability.
* Identify new business opportunities and secure product listings across various wine categories.
* Negotiate trading terms, promotional calendars, and pricing structures annually with key clients.
Skills & Experience
* Proven experience in sales or buying, with strong commercial acumen.
* Excellent negotiation and influencing skills, with adaptability to different stakeholders.
* Analytical skills, including comfort with financial and sales data.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
* Organised and methodical, with the ability to manage workloads in a fast-paced environment.
* Interest in wine and/or the convenience sector is desirable.
