Job summary Medical Receptionist / Administrator Total of 14-16 hours per week / part time. To predominately covering a Monday and Friday An excellent opportunity has arisen within North Curry Health Centre to support the Primary Health Care Team. We are a friendly Dispensing Practice with a list size of just over 4,000 patients. With 3 GP Partners, 2 Salaried GPs, 2 Practice Nurses, 1 HCA, 5 Dispensers, an admin/reception team of 8 staff and a Practice Manager. To provide reception and administrative duties for the practice, dealing with patients, clinical staff and colleagues in an efficient and polite manner. Receive, assist and direct patients in accessing the appropriate service or healthcare professional and undertake a variety of administrative duties to assist in the smooth running of the Practice in accordance with agreed procedures, protocols and timescales. Main duties of the job We are seeking a motivated well organised individual to join our team. For this role it is essential that you are reliable, flexible, have effective communication skills, excellent IT skills and enjoy working as part of a team. You should have a good level of general education with 3 GCSEs Grade A-C (9-4) including English and Maths.
