Job title: Communications Manager Location: Warton – We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements – please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role Salary: £61,110 (Depending on skills and experience) What you’ll be doing: You will support the Head of Communications (Europe & International ((E&I;) in the delivery of communications activities to support E&I; strategy and objectives including large and small events, targeted briefings, channel management, video design and written content You will be developing and maintaining excellent working relationships with the E&iI; Leadership Team in order to manage the delivery of a coordinated, effective employee communications and engagement plan You will provide expertise and guidance to the wider E&I; business, developing and delivering communications plans as required and applying a good working knowledge of communications policies, reputational issues, brand guidelines and governance processes You are going to work in close partnership with UK based and international communications colleagues to share and drive best practice, consistency and alignment You will be maintaining strong working relationships with our customer community and industry partners to help deliver targeted communications outcomes You will support other communications activities as requested by both the Internal Communications Director and External Communications Director There will be the requirement for occasional travel to UK locations and potentially to overseas locations Your skills and experiences: Essential: Proven extensive experience of devising and successfully implementing effective internal communications strategies and associated activities that support and drive employee engagement and business priorities Degree andor relevant professional certificate or equivalent experience along with exceptional written and oral skills An excellent understanding of core communications principles, techniques and skills particularly in content development Familiarity with exploiting a variety of communications channels, including video and digital, and integrating them to create compelling narratives across a broad variety of business activities and initiatives for the employee population. The Air Sector Communications Team: The Air Sector UK Communications Team is made up more than 35 colleagues, experts in their various specialisms of external and internal communications, events management, community relations and creative digital design. You’ll work as part of this team and also be a business partner to our Europe & International (E&I;) business within the Air Sector.
