Key Responsibilities of a Supply Teacher : - Deliver pre-planned lessons to ensure continuity of learning during teacher absences. - Adapt quickly to different classrooms and subject areas. - Manage classroom behaviour effectively, creating a productive learning environment. - Provide feedback to school staff on student progress and engagement. - Foster a supportive and inclusive atmosphere to help students thrive. Requirements for the role of Supply Teacher: - Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification. - Confidence to teach across different subjects and year groups. - Strong classroom management skills and adaptability. - A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. - Previous experience in supply teaching or similar roles is advantageous.
