The Speak Up Team, which sits within the Legal & Compliance team of LSEG, handles all reports made under the LSEG’s Speak Up policy of which a significant proportion arise out of employment-related matters The team is looking for a full-time investigator to carry out the investigations into such reports in line with and to the standards set out in the applicable policies and procedures. The investigator will report to the Director of Fraud and Investigations and interact regularly with the Speak-Up triage team. Role requirements Expert investigator with experience of carrying out whistleblowing investigations or other investigations, audits or reviews (such as an investigator, auditor, lawyer, employment professional). Experience of interviewing employees and other witnesses, particularly in sensitive/confidential situations. Good understanding of best investigative practice. Knowledge of applicable HR / ER / data protection issues arising in whistleblowing cases. Candidate requirements Confident, credible manner. Ability to communicate sensitively and appreciatively with a range of employees globally. Ability to assess information carefully, coupled with good judgment. Ability to give confidence to internal and external partners about the effectiveness and integrity of Speak Up investigations. Ability to work optimally with relevant teams and individuals across the Group. Attention to detail, able to identify required information and information gaps, work independently, prioritise, complete tasks and work to ensure the efficient and timely completion of investigations.
