Your new companyHays are working with a professional services organisation in Bristol to support with the recruitment for a permanent Project Manager. The role is paying circa 50k and offers hybrid working typically 3 days per week in the office (city centre). Your new roleIn the role you'll be responsible for delivering external and internal projects, managing overseas relationships. You'll have oversight of a PMO function, establishing standards and frameworks, ensuring best practice and continuous improvement. You'll be responsible for Change management supporting an outsourcing transition. You'll engage with stakeholders across the department and need to have excellent communication skills. What you'll need to succeedTo be considered for the role you'll need to have a background in IT project / programme management and have good knowledge of traditional PMO work and IT change management. You'll need to be experienced in managing offshore / outsourced relationships and ideally experience working with 3rd parties from a client perspective. You will need experience with risk and issue management, project scheduling & reporting and experience with end to end project management. Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management skills are a requirement. Experiencing supporting or coaching junior staff would be beneficial. Experience working within professional services / finance would also be beneficial.
