Empowering Learning are looking to appoint a Food Technology Teacher to work within a high performing school in Birmingham. You will be teaching Food Tech up to KS4, preparing students for their forthcoming GCSE exams.

Daily Tasks will include:
1. Teaching & Delivering on the Food Tech GCSE Curriculum
2. Sole focus on delivering high quality Food Tech lessons each day (no second subject)
3. Sit in on SLT Team Meetings, having a say on Key Decisions within the Food Tech Department
4. Available PPA allotted time
5. Opportunity of progression - with added TLR
Credentials we are looking for:
1. Previous experience working within a Food Tech Secondary School Department
2. A person who is passionate, enthusiastic and willing to go the extra mile to help and support children reach their maximum potential in every subject
3. Experience working with children who have learning difficulties - SEN
4. Be able to work well as part of a close knit team as well as think on your feet independently
