GSL Education are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join an energetic school in Andover, where you will inspire young minds and shape their educational adventures!
About the role:
As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in fostering a positive learning environment, promoting collaboration between students and staff, and supporting the success of our educational programs.
Responsibilities of the Teaching Assistant:
* Assist teachers in delivering engaging lessons and managing classroom activities.
* Provide one-on-one support to students who may need extra help.
* Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
* Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers.
* Support students during break times and school events.
Requirements of the Teaching Assistant:
* Hold a bachelor's degree in education or a related field.
* Assist teachers in delivering engaging lessons and managing classroom activities.
* Provide one-on-one support to students who may need extra help.
* Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
* Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers.
* Support students during break times and school events.
* Prior experience in a teaching assistant role is beneficial.
* Have an updated CV and an enhanced DBS registered to the update service (or be willing to apply for one).
