Role Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Teaching Assistant to work with primary-aged students who require additional support due to challenging behaviours and learning difficulties. You will help create a positive and engaging learning environment where each child can thrive.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide support to students with challenging behaviour and learning needs.
2. Assist in creating individualised learning plans for students.
3. Help students engage with literacy, numeracy, and other key subjects.
4. Implement behaviour management strategies to maintain a positive classroom environment.
5. Work closely with teachers and other staff to monitor student progress.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
6. Experience working with primary-aged children with challenging behaviours.
7. Strong behaviour management skills.
8. Patience and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
9. Commitment to supporting children's academic and emotional development.
