Role Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and motivated Early Career Teacher (ECT) or Newly Qualified Teacher (NQT) to join our dedicated team full-time, teaching a Year 1 class. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a new teacher to launch their career in a supportive and encouraging school environment, with a focus on professional growth and pupil achievement.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum.
2. Mark students' work and provide feedback that supports their progress and understanding.
3. Create and maintain an inclusive and positive classroom environment conducive to learning.
4. Monitor and track pupil progress to ensure all students achieve their potential.
5. Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum delivery and share best practices.
6. Build strong relationships with parents and carers, providing updates on student progress and development.
Working Hours:
Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 3:15 pm.
Pay Scale:
The role will be paid to scale, in alignment with the teacher pay framework.
Candidate Requirements:
1. Achieved or expected Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) by January.
2. A genuine passion for teaching and supporting young learners.
3. Strong communication and organizational skills.
4. A proactive and adaptable approach to classroom management and lesson planning.
