Overview
We are seeking a professional and experienced Reception Supervisor to join our Front Desk Team, supporting the Reception Manager with the day-to-day operations.
Responsibilities
* Assist with training, coaching, and mentoring the front desk team to deliver exceptional service.
* Assist in management of staff punctuality, conduct, and overall performance.
* Lead by example and help to instill a can-do attitude into the reception team.
* Assist the Reception Manager with administrative duties where required.
* Contribute to the implementation of standard operating procedures and the general running of day-to-day reception operations.
* Be a strong duty manager.
* Assist with recruitment.
* Assist in onboarding new starters.
* Have an excellent understanding of Opera Cloud and reservations to ensure smooth running of shifts.
* Good problem-solving skills and a pro-active thinker.
* Great man management skills and the ability to get the best out of employees.
* Handle guest complaints confidently.
* Pushing guest service and review sites and encouraging the team to do the same.
* Be in charge of reception operations in the absence of the Reception Manager.
* Be a reliable member of the team.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £27,000.00 per year
